BIOGRAPHYAlexander Zyuryaev is a Canadian photographer and director based in Milan, Italy. Growing up between film sets and photo studios, he began documenting the people and moments around him at a young age, developing a distinct visual language rooted in authenticity and emotion. For Alexander, the thread of his imagemaking is always about a spirit of connection – both between his camera and the subject, and the subject and the viewer.An image maker and visual thinker, he explores the language of film as one of the aspects of his multidisciplinary creative practice. Influenced by his first experience at the Venice Film Festival at age six and later honed through formal training, Alexander Zyuryaev has spent the past decade directing over 25 films and creating compelling visual narratives across both fashion and film. His ongoing collaboration with Women Management involves crafting their social media presence and creating fashion films that highlight the artistry of their models.Alexander has brought his lens to a wide range of clients including Canon, Women Management, Supreme Management, W360, The Crew, WW and others.
